The IDEAL THE 68 LT has all the features of the 68 model plus an air table. The innovative air table significantly facilitates the positioning and movement of stacks of paper. Air is blown through small openings in the tabletop, creating an air cushion that minimizes frictional resistance between the paper stack and the table surface. This allows even large quantities of paper to be handled effortlessly and comfortably.

Its precision electro-mechanical blade drive and hydraulic clamp drive deliver accurate, reliable performance, while the integrated IR light beam safety curtain provides enhanced operator safety during use.

The guillotine offers both programmable and manual back-gauge positioning, complemented by a 680 mm table depth for efficient handling of materials. The adjustable back-gauge features narrow separations and plastic gliders to ensure smooth, precise positioning.

For complete control, the hydraulic clamp bar features infinitely programmable clamping pressure, easily adjusted via the touchscreen to suit different materials. An electronically controlled false clamp plate is ideal for delicate work, ensuring even distribution of clamping force and protecting sensitive materials from damage.

Thanks to its solid all-metal construction, an ergonomically adjustable working height (950–1000 mm) and durable components, the THE 68 LT is particularly robust and sustainable – with long-term spare parts supply and excellent repairability.
