Guillotine Servicing + Health & Safety Check

In the UK electric guillotines are subject to strict Health and Safety regulations requiring them to be serviced and Health and Safety certified every six months. A guillotine service will ensure your machine will be running as efficiently as possible, extend the life of the guillotine, help to prevent breakdowns and improve the performance ensuring clean, precise cuts. If you own or operate a guillotine it is important to make sure that it is serviced by a qualified engineer.

Regular maintenance is essential for keeping your guillotine running safely. We recommend keeping a maintenance log, recording dates of inspections & any issues noticed. These operator maintenance checks should be completed the daily / weekly & monthly, this is in addition to the six monthly health & safety check.

We also keep a selection of guillotine spare parts in stock (guillotine components should always be replaced with genuine manufacturer approved parts).

Here at Chilvers Reprographics we offer six monthly health and safety maintenance contracts and ad-hoc call outs, provided by our expert Ideal/EBA trained engineers who have been in the industry for many years. We carry out regular guillotine servicing for a large number of our customers including schools, colleges, print shops, copy shops etc. A comprehensive range of genuine Ideal/EBA spare parts are always kept in stock and our engineers are generally equipped with everything they need to repair a guillotine fault on site without the need for costly and time wasting return visits. During each routine maintenance call we will also advise of any wearing parts that may need to be replaced sooner, preventing any breakdown in the first place.
